I lost my best friend today...
The one with whom I shared all my hopes and dreams.
The one who listened to my worries and complaints and never said a word.
The one who stood beside me through thick and thin.
The one who lingered in the garden with me and stayed right by my side whether the air was hot or cold.
The one who would wipe away my tears with her kisses of love.
As I whispered my love to her in her ear ...she slipped away quietly...ever soquietly to be earth bound no more.
